View Full Version : Wordpress 2.1.2 Text Editor

If you are using the Wordpress 2.1.2 the text editor is not displaying properly. Currently looking into what is causing this issue.

The plugin still works properly but the submissions must be made in HTML. Thinking about just removing the text editor and just doing straight HTML submissions since 92.5% of the submissions will be with HTML anyways.

Hello Aaron,

When this bug would get fixed ? I have installed 2.1.2 in my server, but I am seeing the same bug as you specified here.

Im getting all the changes and upgrades before this fixed is released. Im hoping for this weekend but it could be early next week also.

Hello,

I just wondered if this bug has been fixed. I was so glad to have got the plugin to work on my blog only to find the issues with text box. I checked the demo page on this site and I can see the scrollbars appear. Is the demo installed on wordpress 2.1.2? If so, that is the version I am using and my scrollbars don't appear. The text disappears off the screen as you type. I'm happy to wait for a new release, I would just like to that it is an actual bug and not something I am doing wrong.

That was a bug for the older version. The new version I just removed the text editor because I think its pointless anyways and was just causing issues. Most people wont sit there and type a blog post they would use a text editor that they have and copy/paste. Thats why I just removed it.
